People visit your website and don't get in touch. Five fixable reasons

The website is up, the photos are there, people even visit it. Yet almost no inquiries come from it. Before you order a new one, check five things that often stop people from getting in touch. Some of them you can fix in a day.

1. No prices, not even a range

A client comes to your website with one question: how much does it cost? If they can't find a single number, they can write and wait, or check a website that does show a price. You don't have to list prices down to the last euro. A range is enough: “ceramic coating from EUR [amount], depending on the car and the condition of the paint”.

2. Not enough of your real work on show

Stock photos won't win over anyone who is looking for a studio for their own car. Show cars from your own bay: before and after, with a short note - model, service, how long it took. A client with a Golf wants to see a Golf, not a supercar from the film manufacturer's brochure.

3. Getting in touch is hard on a phone

Open your website on your phone and try to get in touch the way a client would. Can you tap the number to call it? Can you see the contact button without scrolling? Does the form have three fields or ten? Every extra step is a chance for the client to give up.

The 10-minute test: take your phone, open your website and try to book a service like any ordinary client. Write down every point where something held you up.

4. The form is the only way to get in touch

A form is convenient for the business, not for the client. The client sends a message and has no idea when the answer will come. Give them a choice: phone, SMS or WhatsApp, the form - and a chat, if it gets answered right away.

5. Nobody answers after hours

Your website can be browsed at any hour, but you can't answer at any hour. If a client leaves a message at 9 pm on Friday and gets a reply on Monday, they may already be booked in somewhere else.

What a chat that answers right away changes

A chat on your website answers questions about price and dates while you're at the car or asleep. It knows your price list and your calendar, asks about the car and offers a free slot. In the morning your calendar has jobs booked overnight, not a list of messages waiting for a reply.

We install the chat ourselves, so you don't have to change your website. If the website does need rebuilding, we can do that too - built for the phone first, with a price list and a gallery of your jobs.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a new website?

Not always. Often it's enough to add price ranges, real jobs and easy contact on a phone. A new website is worth it when the current one can't reasonably be fixed.

How much traffic do I need for a chat to make sense?

If your website brings in even a few inquiries a week, a chat that answers right away has something to work with. With very little traffic, take care of your Google profile and photos of your jobs first.

Won't a chat annoy clients?

The chat gives straight answers - price, date, scope - and introduces itself as the studio's assistant. It doesn't pretend to be a person and doesn't reply with stock phrases.

Does the chat work on phones?

Yes. It works on a phone the same way as on a computer.

How much is it?

Let's see how much you're leaking

15 minutes on the phone. We'll work out how much is leaking at your place, and at the end you'll see on your own phone what a client gets when nobody picks up.
